ADMISSIONS

Students apply directly to their chosen department (either political science or sociology), and they are admitted to their chosen department based on the normal procedures used by that department.  They then are invited by CHSS faculty to apply to the CHSS Program.  In the personal statement of their application, prospective graduate students may indicate an interest in the program, but this is not required for entry into the program.  A committee of core CHSS faculty meet to invite and decide upon all admissions.
