Undergraduate Africa Seminar

The Program of African Studies created the Undergraduate Africa Seminar (UAS) in the 2009-2010 academic year to serve the many undergraduate students interested in Africa. UAS is a student-led seminar, organized by PAS, that meets frequently throughout each quarter. In the seminar, students discuss topics of interest, share experiences on the continent, learn from faculty speakers, and present their own work. The topics and subjects are determined by the students each quarter.

UAS is looking forward to another exciting year in 2010-11, led by student coordinators Benjamin Armstrong and Lydia Hsu.
